Competitive archery in Australia by Jacob Blackburn

For newcomers to archery who hope to give competitive archery a go, it can be difficult to find information about the different styles available in Australia and how they differ. There are a multitude of different styles and formats of archery, but there are a few formats that stand out. Target and field shooting are main styles broadly, but beneath those styles are a variety of different formats of shooting. I have summarised my experience over the last 17 or so years into brief explanations of each format in the following articles.
